What will be the peak and off-peak hours?

Peak hours will run from 08:00hrs until 00:00hrs each day.

Off-peak hours will run from 00:00hrs until 08:00hrs each day.

Bandwidth Top-up

While you will be able to choose from a range of allowance products, we are introducing a top-up facility that will allow you to buy additional bandwidth that lasts until it has been used up – irrespective of how long it takes you to use it.

There will be 7 bandwidth top-up options, ranging from 10GB up to 1TB (1000GB). These can only be added to a chosen monthly allowance product and you will be able to buy further top-ups at any time.

What additional costs are there?

Where applicable or chosen, the following additional costs will apply:

Activation fee – as with our existing ADSL1 products an activation fee will apply to all new provides and migrations from an LLU provider.

Elevated Best Efforts – for our customers who want to ensure a higher minimum connection speed, we will offer an ‘Elevated Best Efforts’ option that guarantees a minimum download speed of 3Mbps, depending on the achievable speed of the line. Standard Best Efforts will guarantee a minimum download speed of 2Mbps. This is similar to the difference between our current MAX and MAX Premium products.

Enhanced Care – Customers buying this option will benefit from shorter fix times in the event that their broadband connection is lost. Whereas Standard Care provides a fix time of 40 hours, Enhanced Care will ensure a fix time of just 20 hours with Openreach engineers available 24/7.

What will NOT be charged?

Certain elements will not attract any charge. These are:

Overuse - where a customer exceeds their monthly allowance and does not have an active bandwidth top-up (or has used it all), no charge will be made for bandwidth overuse. However, at the point their allowance is used up their connection will become rate limited until the start of their next billing period or until they top-up. We are planning to introduce an auto top-up option.                                                                                           

Ceases – where a customers connection is ceased, no charge will be made.
